Hi there, Here is a patch for making the mode-line more configurable. It lets you change the separator string for groups and windows, makes the selected window or group highlighter configurable, and adds a highlight for the previously selected window or group.
I don't know if it's possible to use format in some manner with ~{~A~^STR~}
and have STR configurable without using nested formats, so I made a join
function and use this instead of format in the fmt functions.
The default configuration when using this patch has the same appearance as
when it's not applied.
