Issue #2725 has been updated by rolinh.
Hi YRabbit, Thanks for the patch. I tested your it just now and, unfortunately, it does not work. I can do some tests and try to figure out a way to fix it. Personally, I would add a comment in the source to explain that there is a conflict and that's the reason why there is this specific Huawei device detection code snippet. ---------------------------------------- Submit #2725: urndis & huawei usb modems probe http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2725#change-12227 * Author: yellowrabbit2010 * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: Driver * Target version: ---------------------------------------- >From IRC: (@swildner) YRabbit: Rolinh: we could add a kernel option or tunable >that lets either umodem or urndis detect, with the default being whichever >device is more popular (which i don't know). Well, may be test against vendor? Here is patch. I have no Huawei or HTC One, so patch is untested. ---Files-------------------------------- 00-rundis-umodem.diff (1.96 KB) -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
