Will Apple Get Into The Home Theater Game?

The New York Times is speculating that Apple Computer is looking to get into
the home theater audio/video space, based on comments Apple founder and CEO
Steven Jobs made at a recent MacWorld tradeshow. Jobs spoke about 2005 being
the year for HD video. With over 1,000,000 DTV sets having been sold in
October 2004, many think HDTV is the killer application for home theater and
maybe the next thing needed to help sell computers.

NAD PowerDrive - So smart, it knows what your speakers are thinking

They say that knowledge is power. So when it comes to reacting to the
constantly fluctuating power needs of today's loudspeakers, an A/V receiver has
to be very smart indeed. Most A/V receivers fail the test and you hear
distortion. NAD's dual-rail power supply knows when your speakers need extra
help to deliver clean, undistorted -sound. The result is honor roll performance
for your movies and music.

XLO:
Choose the Best In the World

Your cable solution is the most pervasive component in any audio system. It
lies between every other component and affects the performance of each of them
within the system as a whole. At XLO we recommend a totally neutral cable
system designed commensurate with the level of your systems components. To
discuss an XLO interconnect system for your needs - call your retailer or

Anthony Gallo Acoustics
The Reference3 Speaks For Itself

"... Not since the Vandersteen 2 has a loudspeaker come on to the audio scene
with such assuredness of success. Not since the Vandy has a speaker so outpaced
the competition in terms of quality and value at its price point as has this
Gallo loudspeaker." Martin DeWolf - Bound For Sound

"... This speaker combines so much unconventional thinking, novel applications
and build quality in such a balanced, physically compact but sonically
gargantuan and full-range design, and for such an exceedingly fair price that
some drastic measure of formal recognition was required to truly separate it
out from the crowds that make up the $3,000 - $10,000 floorstanding speaker
field." Srajan Ebaen - sixmoons.com

PurePower: It's like plugging into Niagara Falls

The only way to ensure your A/V system meets spec and is protected at all times
is to de-couple it from the local utility power with a PurePower AC
Regenerator. Conventional power conditioners merely filter the noise, protect
against surges, and in some cases regulate voltage.

PurePower connects you to a new, stable power source, off the power grid, as
though you were hooked up to the cleanest power station in North America. Even
if the inbound voltage is zero, PurePower keeps your system operating perfectly
with its built-in back-up battery system. Perfect voltage sinewave, total
freedom from line noise, distortion, surges, and sags.

AVRev.com Music Reviews

The Killers - Hot Fuss CD

The Killers, great name, can they back it up? Seems like I read something ...
promising, about them. Okay, follow instinct, take it for a spin, see what
rolls by deadline time.

Sometimes you just get lucky. In a couple of weeks, this has gone from below my
radar to cant-escape-it. Theyre all over the airwaves, three Grammy
nominations, top-billed band for L.A.s Giant Village NYE 2005 street party.
Why, theyre already famous in Vegas!

Just kidding. Theyre from Vegas. Maybe that makes them the first band that got
tough and really good from rehearsing in garages in 130 degrees, instead of
melting into nothingness.
