This "Mod Quad" can be assembled horizontally or vertically on a variety of stands and mounts and it has an extremely elegant look to go along with its brilliant audio performance. Best of all, Orb's modular approach to speaker design (and consumer friendly upgrade policy) means existing Mod1 and Mod2 owners don't have to sit on the sidelines looking on in jealousy. Instead, they can simply contact Orb and upgrade one or all of their speakers for the same price as if they were buying Mod4s today. We are big fans of the Mod4 center channel.

Design must have been on Orb's mind this year, as their third new product offering is also as much a treat for the eyes as it is a treat for the ears. Long a customer favorite, Orb's hand polished steel speakers are joined by the brand new Hand Antiqued Bronze and Hand Antiqued Copper speaker finishes to form the new Metallum Series. Each speaker is polished by hand and then finished with a unique antiquing or finishing process that sets these Orbs apart from anything else in the market. You would expect to pay an outrageous sum for such labor intensive finishes, but Orb's direct business model keeps the additional charge for these finishes to a reasonable $20-$30 per speaker.
