This is a known issue with the Marble implementation. There are several ways in which it appears to "forget" your preferred zoom setting. Instead it will stay "pretty far out" and you have to manually zoom back in (just use your scroll wheel / scroll gesture over the map area). > > Also noticed when I was trying to choose a location, I would zoom and > then use a click/drag to get the proper location in view. I updated the libraries used in the Mac and Windows binary to a newer version with tons of bug fixes but that still doesn't seem to address some of these issues. I love the way it looks when it works.
