We can - but then, we will lose some stuff - mostly the colors of the velocities on the polygon. ( that's what I meant by color border below ), since we are showing an actual dive, everything on the profile is a real dive, so the velocity colors on the borders and other stuff is ready. if this thing is not important, I can speed up quite a lot by using another model to display stuff instead of the dive profile model for that. >> there's a bug where the lines are comming from the wrong direction too >> - they should come from >> the bottom / from the right, but are commiing from the top and left, >> making the profile >> do more work than it should, but it's a simple fix. > > I hadn't noticed that. > >> > One thing that I really wonder about is the tooltip / information overlay. >> > Is that useful in dive add / dive plan mode? >> >> It is - because the dive that the user is seeing on the information >> overlay is the same that >> will be the dive when he accept - did you see that the colors of the >> borders are colored ? >> its a live preview. :) > > Not sure what you mean with the colors of the borders... > What I do notice is that the screen is all blue (instead of cream) - I > guess that's OK as it indicates we are in create dive mode. > The other thing that I noticed is that if I cancel "Add Dive" the profile > of the selected dive is not restored. 'cancel' and 'ok' are a bit bugged, but on my todo list. :) I'm trying to make the profille really workable, then I'll fix the rest. >> >> Keyboard handling is broken because I didn't ported *anything* of it yet. >> >> This is not true anymore, just ported the keyboard handling. :P > > I saw more patches.
