Hi Davide:
I don't have a Mac but I think there's an issue with IRDA and Macs, so I
guess that won't work (From the Subsurface manual: For the Apple Mac,
IrDA communication via the MCS7780 link is not available for OSX 10.6 or
higher).

able to download data from his Tec2G. So he uses an old xp laptop just
to use a Chinese IRDA dongle to download data.
Is there any chance to have a clean solution having (just) a IRDA
dongle and subsurface?
