So I took Tomaz' patches (with small modifications) but this needs a lot more testing. In one quick test case that I threw together it showed no notes for notes that contained HTML (but that was cheating as I created that markup myself).
Ideally if you have XML files (or git saves) that were done with the broken versions, let's make sure this does the right thing.
