I didnt understand what you said, can you try to explain with other

I have a directory structure with photos such as this: MasterDirectory
--> Subdirectory
Both directories contain 31 photos:
The masterdirectory has the original unprocessed photos (.jpg).
The subdirectory has the same photos, but which have been processed with
DarkTable (also .jpg).
Darktable does not alter the existing EXIF data at all.
I used photos in the subdirectory in previous tests of Subsurface (Load
image) using Subsurface 4.1.x
Everything worked OK.
With Beta4, when I try to "Load image" by right-clicking on a dive in
the dive list, Subsurface automatically points to the last directory
that I used when testing V4.1.x.
Problem 1: When I select the MasterDirectory, Subsurface automatically
reverts focus back to the Subdirectory; i.e. I cannot move the focus to
a different directory.
Problem 2: When I load the images from Subdirectory into the highlighted
dive in the dive list, sometimes, only one photo is loaded. Most times
no photo is loaded.
This is part of a standard test that I have run many times on previous
versions of Subsurface.
I am trying to find out whether this problem is repeatable on other
machines.
Is this more understandable?
