Subgear dive computers are usually re-branded Uwatec models. So the reason why it works by downloading as the Subgear XP-10 is because the device identifies itself during the communication as one of the supported Uwatec model.
To add a new model name to libdivecomputer (which is where subsurface gets the list of supported devices from), I need a memory dump and corresponding logfile. In the subsurface download dialog, there are two checkboxes for that purpose.
The alternative is to run the libdivecomputer universal application. Download it here:
http://www.libdivecomputer.org/builds/windows/universal.exe (Windows) http://www.libdivecomputer.org/builds/linux/universal (Linux) and run with these options: universal.exe -v -l smart.log -m smart.bin -b smart Jef _______________________________________________ subsurface mailing list [email protected] http://lists.hohndel.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface
