I don't want to install libdivecomputer, nor marble.  I use `qmake'
arguments 'LIBS+=...' and 'INCLUDEPATH+=...' to point to marble and
libdivecomputer library locations.

Relative to subsurface repo code tree:

../libdivecomputer/src/.libs/libdivecomputer.a
../libdivecomputer/src/.libs/libdivecomputer.lai
../libdivecomputer/src/libdivecomputer.la
../libdivecomputer/src/.libs/libdivecomputer.la -> ../libdivecomputer.la

Yes, the .la file refers to libusb:

        # Libraries that this one depends upon.
        dependency_libs=' -lusb-1.0'
