Definitely. There are a lot of divers afflicted with this insane measuring system. I usually dive my own HP119, but on most dive trips I get AL80. And then when the dive base asks me if I want an 11 liter tank or a 15 liter I sadly have to stop and think what that might mean... > Cylinder size is currently not supported in imperial format as it doesn't > really make sense without working pressure. There are way too many permutations. LP85 could be 2400 psi or 2640 psi. But you can cheat (just document it): ALxxx -> xxx cuft at 3000 psi LPxxx -> xxx cuft at 2400 psi (people with plus-rated cylinders need to manually fix things) HPxxx -> xxx cuft at 3440 psi This should work well for MOST people and MOST cylinders. And the others are no worse off than what we have today. > I was wondering if it would make sense to implement exporting the CSV files > in imperial units as well. Opinions? I know we'll get a request for it sooner or later :-( /D _______________________________________________ subsurface mailing list [email protected] http://lists.subsurface-divelog.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface
