The Vyper and Vyper Air belong to two different families, with a completely
different communication protocol. I believe the subsurface configuration
feature does support the vyper family only. So this is not really an issue

Jepp. If someone knows how, and could produce some reliable data on how
to configure those newer Suunto's, I for one would love to see such
code.
I haven't seen anyone doing some configuration of those devices...
It thought I could configure my Vyper Air with this tool. Too bad. :(
