I just realized that IntelliJ's very promising CLion IDE [1] use CMake as
its native build system.  That should make it quick to get up to speed
there.

I use IntelliJ IDEA for other things (mostly Java), and I'm very happy with
it.  I don't see why we can't support both build systems, though, if it
makes people happy :)
