Yes but I considered this as a temporary status. I mean until I choose a dive site or (in your workflow) until I add a new one. IMHO I will never save a logbook with a dive without a dive site. The name I enter in the location textfield is directly a divesite (if I do not add further info) or it has a default auto generated name. I agree with you to do not create trac tickets for workflow related discussion. Actually the whole feature it's so new that maybe we can discuss here everything. Reading your comments I realize that you implemented a completely different workflow from what we discussed months ago here hence I need to understand the whole thing from scratch. Last but not the least... Investigating on my duplicated dive sites I discovered that Subsurface bite me. My file and my latest backup are somehow corrupted. I did not realize working with dailies after the 4.4.1... I need to adjust my logbook before I can make some useful test. Maybe I will ask some help. Best
