Hi guys,

I just got my diving computer 'Scubapro Chromis' and I'm trying to import
my dives into Subsurface, however it always fails with the message "Dive
data import error". Same error shows up when I'm trying to save the
libdivecomputer dump file.

The libdivecomputer logfile looks like this though,

> INFO: Open: name=/dev/ttyUSB0
> INFO: Configure: baudrate=57600, databits=8, parity=0, stopbits=1,
flowcontrol=0
> INFO: Timeout: value=3000
> INFO: Flush: queue=3, input=0, output=0
> INFO: Write: size=13, data=FFFFFFA659BDC2010000001B1A
> INFO: Read: size=13, data=FFFFFFA659BDC2010000001B1A
> INFO: Read: size=0, data=
> ERROR: Failed to receive the header. [in uwatec_meridian.c:111
(uwatec_meridian_transfer)]
> INFO: Write: size=13, data=FFFFFFA659BDC2010000001011
> INFO: Read: size=13, data=FFFFFFA659BDC2010000001011
> INFO: Read: size=0, data=
> ERROR: Failed to receive the header. [in uwatec_meridian.c:111
(uwatec_meridian_transfer)]

Unfortunately I'm stuck in Malaysia on an Island with quite bad connection,
so I'm not really able to build subsurface from source (I managed to clone
it, but not build it).
Is there anyway to make subsurface use libdivecomputer as a shared library
(libdivecomputer isn't really that big and I managed to actually download
libdivecomputer itself).

I've tried with two cables so I doubt it's the cable.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to get this work/debug it further ?
It would be really cool to use Subsurface as my primary diving log.

Using,
Subsurface 4.4.2
Red Hat 7.1

Best regards,
Patrik Martinsson
