So with the latest work from Anton and Grace I think I have automated builds for Android indeed working correctly and we have an already fairly useful proof of concept up and running.
If you have an Android device (x86 or arm) please check out the Subsurface-mobile apk at downloads/daily. Grace, here are a few comments from me on what we have in master: 1) please reverse the order in which the dives are shown. It feels much more natural to do what we have in the desktop app and to show the newest (last) dive first 2) instead of expanding the entry for a dive when the user taps on it, please use the stackView just as I did for the preferences. That will give us a much more natural feeling UI on a mobile device 3) possibly related, when I expand a dive right now and come back, most dives will suddenly be in the dive list twice. And the previously expanded dive is still "somewhat expanded" (i.e. the size didn't go back down to the previous size - but my guess is using the stackView will immediately address this issue). 4) on Android the password isn't saved, even if the user checks the box that asks Subsurface-mobile to do so These all seem like things that should be fairly easy to fix. Thanks for the awesome work. This is quite close to being useable. /D _______________________________________________ subsurface mailing list [email protected] http://lists.subsurface-divelog.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface
