Fair enough. I realize that, ultimately, it all boils down to personal preference of those who dedicate substantial time and effort (as opposed to those of us who mostly just yap at subsurface mailing lists ;)). And while I would be quite curious to learn what arguments drive such disdain for python, I will gladly respect your call to end this discussion.
