I just had two emails from Dirk to the subsurface list marked as spam by gmail.

Maybe some RBL or similar that has decided that subsurface shares a
subnet with somebody who is spammy?

Or did something change on the list, Dirk?

Stupidly I marked the emails non-spam before even looking at what
gmail said about them (although the gmail explanations for spam are
usually pretty uninformative)
