Hi Internet has been pretty bad for me the last day or so, which means I haven't been able to work on the AppImage. But of the key things I was looking for I believe that's the only remaining one.
- we have Ubuntu packages (as well as openSUSE and Fedora) - Windows and Mac seem fine - we have the blocker bugs fixed - we added a few small fixes to the planner - but there continues ongoing work and I'm not sure that there's a logical stopping point, so I suggest that we just be careful with what we accept the next few days and delay the rest for 4.7.1 - we fixed a few more bugs and potential crashes - we have an updated user manual - the translations are making progress My plan right now is to give people a couple of days to read the manual, maybe (if you are ambitious), add translations for the changes in the manual, spend time with the remaining translations on Transifex (I just pushed another hand full of strings - so right now all languages are missing a few translations) and maybe fix a few more oddities. Most importantly, TEST, TEST, TEST. And whatever you find, at least file a bug on GitHub. Miika, Linus, and I will continue data collection and daily testing as well... If nothing bad happens (and the internet stays with me) I'll release 4.7 this weekend. Thanks to everyone involved! I have to call out Stefan who has only started contributing this year and has turned into one of our most active developers! But this goes to everyone sending code, translations, bug reports and feature requests. Subsurface exists because of you. /D _______________________________________________ subsurface mailing list [email protected] http://lists.subsurface-divelog.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface
