Things to pay attention to:

Mac - we often have problems with the DMG failing on systems that aren't mine. I have what I believe is a clean VM on which I tested it and it worked, but I'd love to hear from someone else that it works for them. Windows - the 4.8.6 installer seemed to have problems with BLE... can someone please test the 4.9 installer to make sure BLE works again?

I haven't even started to look at an announcement post and I'm heading to the airport again in a few hours - let's see if I manage to get this announced tomorrow. This way we'll get some more testing of the binaries, I hope.

Tested the 4.9.0 Linux master built on my machine.

Imported from Galileo (IrDA) and Shearwater (BT). Ok

Dive sites tab: Discard unused sites, add a site, edit a site, delete a site all ok.

Equipment tab: added cylinders & weights, ok.

Notes tab: changed date and time, added tabs and other text fields, all ok.

Media tab: added images to a dive, deleted images, all ok.

Map panel: open in Google maps, select visible dives, all ok.

Planner: opened an existing dive in planner, change & save dive plan, all ok.
