Hi
I have just installed Subsurface 4.9.0 on my WIndows 10 machine. The
program starts OK but when I try to import an XML file (exported from
Subsurface 4.5), the program crashes. Following the response to Davide
Raimondi last Sat below are the details from the Windows event log:

BTW I also installed subsurface 4.9 on an old Win 7 laptop as an upgrade
from 4.5 and this crashes from the get go
