Michael, Berthold, Robert, what are your thoughts about stabilizing the current state and releasing a 5.1 ? It's been way too long since we published an official release. I should have some time the next couple of weeks to ensure we have good builds, etc.
Definitely sounds like a good thing to do for me - there are quite a few improvements and support for new dive computers that we should unlock for users.
How are we looking with being able to build android / iOS versions that can be published to the stores? From memory you stated at some point that we needed to upgrade to Qt 6 for at least one of these, Dirk? If so this will probably take more than a couple of weeks to get completed and tested? As an alternative, would it be a reasonable approach to only release for linux / Windows / MacOS at this point, and defer a mobile release until the Qt upgrade has been done?
I am currently diving in Bikini, but thanks to Starlink I should have connectivity while we are steaming back to Kwajalein on Sunday, so could do some bugfixing / testing during the 30 hour trip. After that it'll be hectic back at work, but I'll see what I can do.
