Given that the new SMTP delivery path does in fact appear to make all of the large providers happy (we had not a single email bounce which is, frankly, quite a surprise to me), I have tried to add back all the people who were force-unsubscribed over the past two weeks.
To those of you who were excited to finally have gotten rid of this silly mailing list - my apologies, just drop me a line and I'll take you back off -- actually that's for anyone who wants to get off of this list, I'm happy to do this via email, no need to fight mailman I was hoping to get the Snap version number problem solved before switching over the website to the new design, but that does appear somewhat more challenging, so I think I won't try to wait for it and do the switchover this weekend. With that I'll archive / retire the GitHub.io site - but in order to not break links that people may have I'll try to do that with redirects (so expect some noise in THAT repository). Next I want to do another "current / weekly" release - three weeks after the last "weekly release" 🤦🏻♂️ -- I held that up waiting to be able to sign the Windows installer. I was on a business trip this week (writing this in the plane back to the West Coast, actually) and while I was gone apparently the hardware token arrived so hopefully (time permitting) I will get that taken care of over the weekend as well. Finally - I do notice that some of the people whose email provider blocked me from sending them email are French... maybe it was my pleas for a French translation of the new website that caused the problem? (just kidding) Thanks everyone for your patience with all these distractions. /D _______________________________________________ subsurface mailing list [email protected] http://lists.subsurface-divelog.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface
