The good news: the Windows installer that you can download as of two minutes
ago as the Current build (so 5082) is signed.
The odd news: it's signed by my consulting company that I use to deal with the
tax consequences of accepting donations (as that company used the donations
money to buy the certificate). So it will say signed by DH Consulting (instead
of Subsurface).
The weird news: when I then try to install this, I STILL get the weird "don't
install this" warning and have to click on "More..." before I am offered to
override that. And I don't understand why since this is signed with a valid
code signing certificate (which it then tells you after you went through the
scare-dialog.

I'd love to have a couple more experienced Windows people try this and double
check that I got the signing right.

After that I need to add language to the Current Release page that explains to
expect a binary signed by DH Consulting. 🤷🏼‍♂️

/D
