This is long term in NYC for a financial firm. Role: ETF Documentation Specialist The Documentation Specialist has the primary responsibility to gather, analyze, document, and validate management and operational processing and procedures for the Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM) Exchange Traded Funds business, supported by EPIC application and ETF Interface. The primary users of this documentation will be operations resources, while new to the EPIC application or some of the functionality, are assumed to have experience in ETF Operations support roles. The Documentation Specialist will primarily work with subject matter experts from BNYM as well as with the production staff supporting ETF management functions. The primary responsibilities of the Documentation Specialist include: 1. Eliciting and documenting current policies, processes, and procedures from BNYM and client business users and subject matter experts 2. Working with these resources to develop new policies, processes, and procedures specific to a given engagement 3. Defining and documenting the new and revised policies, processes, and procedures using text and graphical process flows as necessary 4. Developing training materials to indoctrinate new or experienced hires into the policies, processes, and procedures 5. Developing training materials to support new functionality within EPIC application and ETF Interface (including rollout to the Global markets) 6. Assisting in the operational rollout and support of the new functionality, policies, processes, and procedures including modification of these documents during the "shakedown" period of the new operation The successful candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Documentation Specialist, as well as: 1. Experience in Exchange Traded Funds operations and Mutual Fund Accounting would be a plus 2. Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio 3. Very strong written and verbal communication skills 4. Effective professional relationship building skills 5.
