* CITRIX Engineer* 6+ months Jersey City, New Jersey *Server-Based CITRIX Engineer* - Advanced technical knowledge and experience with Citrix XenApp/Presentation Server 4.0/4.5 from both an engineering and administration side (Engineering is key). - Experience with High Availability, Load Balancing, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity (in the Citrix space). - Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience with Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp in a 1000+ session environment. - Knowledge and experience with Access Gateway, & EdgeSight (monitoring tool). - Knowledge and experience with Citrix Access Gateway. - Knowledge and experience with Windows Terminal Server 2003/2008, Active Directory and Group Policy. - Knowledge of Windows Registry, Profile management and Application packaging. - Experience with multiple security protocols and vendors preferred. Development of Secure Remote Access solutions a strong plus. - Knowledge and experience with any of the following is considered a plus: VDI, Password Manager, Smart Auditor, AppSense, Netscaler, VBScript/Batch Scripting, Wyse Device Manager, Microsoft Softgrid. Description: Client is looking to build out a High Availability Citrix Server environment that is highly scalable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Assist in the design, implementation and support of a multi-farm *Highly Available* Citrix XenApp 4.5/5.0 environment. - Provide 3rd level support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of Citrix XenApp 4.0/4.5 Farms. Troubleshooting includes, but is not limited to; application installs, isolating problems, recommending proper solutions and implementing solutions. Update problem tickets in a timely manner (creating, researching, referring, closing). - Work closely with the Windows Server team to maintain base build and OS tuning. - Work with Information Security to address vulnerabilities and find the appropriate fixes.
