Title: SAP Functional Consultant Location: Columbia , SC Duration: 4-6 Months contract SUMMARY: Working under the direction of the SCEIS Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) contractor, Budget and Control Board - DSIT and South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) Executive Oversight Committee, candidates will provide professional services to facilitate the update of the SCEIS Business Case Study. The IV&V contractor has been charged by the SCEIS EOC to perform the work necessary to update the SCEIS Business Case Study that was originally published in February 2003. The Change Management Consultant will have in-depth knowledge/experience with the Business Process review related to state/local public sector organizations. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: § Assist support IV&V in analyzing the SCEIS Business Case Study based on current environment and planned SCEIS implementation. § Provide SAP expertise to support the IV&V contractor in the assimilation, organization and production of relevant comparative metric analysis with respect to Finance, Procurement, Human Resources and Compensation processes for the legacy and SCEIS business processes. § Provide SAP expertise relative to the cost analysis and justification for ERP projects based on industry standard methodologies and SAP Best Practices. SKILLS REQUIRED: § Strong working knowledge of state finance policies, programs and procedures. § Certified public accountant is desired. § Excellent oral and written communications skills. § Ability to plan, organizes, and coordinates work assignments. § Ability to manage work, delegate, and provide guidance to other sceis employees. § Ability to make presentation and prepare reports. § Materials management background knowledge and technical skills a plus.
