*Cognos Business Intelligence Architect* *6 Months+ CA * *Qualifications and Experience Required* The consultant should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Also, the consultant should have at least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in the following: - Report Studio - Analysis Studio - Query Studio - Metric Studio - Event Studio - Cognos Connection customization - developing standard frameworks for designing and building reports and interactive dashboards - developing customized pages and dashboards for individual users In addition, the following skills are a plus: - Map Manager - database-centric development in a PeopleSoft 8 or 9 environment, especially reporting - database-centric development using Oracle, Informix, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or MySQL Finally, the ability to also play the role of *Cognos Business Intelligence Modeler** *is a major plus. *Activities To Be Performed* The *Cognos Business Intelligence Architect* should be able to perform the following tasks: - develop a standard framework for designing and building reports and interactive dashboards - develop strategies and templates for building personal pages and dashboards - develop reports using Report Studio for both web-only deployment and/or pretty-printing - develop reports using multi-dimensional models - develop interactive dashboards - develop "template" Query Studio reports designed to help business users get started with their ad hoc queries Thanks Chandra Sekhar EC Manage [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.ec-manage.com YIM:sekharecmanage (Please add to you List).
