Location: Rochester Hills, Michigan Duration: 6+ months Senior Level SAP Netweaver Technology (Basis) Administrator: Experienced in ECC 6.40, SAP NetWeaver 2004s and BI systems to provide services to our customers. This position requires extensive hands-on SAP Basis administration. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in day to day production support, monitoring, advanced troubleshooting skills, proactive system analysis and standard SAP Basis administration activities. Successful candidates will have experience in multiple SAP release installations and upgrade projects in large scale complex SAP landscape environments. Candidate must demonstrate a thorough understanding of datacenter operations, IT operations, ITIL methodology, Capacity management, Disaster Recovery and basic networking. RESPONSIBILITIES • Support and maintenance of SAP applications in Oracle and MaxDB environment for multiple customers. • SAP Basis performance tuning and management. • SAP Upgrade of ECC from 4.6 to 6.40. • Research and troubleshooting of advanced problems. • Integration of EP with BI, ECC, CRM. • Integration of SolMan with ECC. • Application of SAP Support Packs and OSS notes. • Provide 4th and 5th level support for SAP Basis environment in a dynamic customer environment while using off-shore team members for 1st and 2nd level activities. • Provide first-level support to developers, IT staff and users in all areas of SAP Basis administration. • Participates in move to production activities • Part of an On-Call Support (24x7) rotation.
