Following are the details of the opportunity: Date resource is required : 12/15/2008 Anticipated end date : 03/15/2009 Location : San Francisco, CA Job Classification : Database Analyst- Support SQL Server DBA Needed Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 5-7 years experience. Description: Designs, tests, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Participates in the development of data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides in-depth consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Participates in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. May develop detailed data models and entity relationship diagrams. This is a production support SQL Server DBA position. Experience with log shipping, replication, database mirroring, performance analysis/ tuning required. Extensive experience with SQL Server 2005 required. Candidate will support applications, change management, and take part in a rotating on-call schedule.
