Job Description


The enVision Support Consultant is responsible for the technical
implementation for Logging, Monitoring and Reporting applications. These
projects may include analyzing requirements, implementation, customization,
integration and documentation for the customer. Key responsibilities include
the successful execution of the engagement, which encompass identifying
requirements and proposing appropriate enterprise solutions. Capable of
working with minimal supervision. Knowledgeable of industry best practices
in the implementation of complex technical solutions. Demonstrates strong
interpersonal skills. 

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide on-site installation, training, and customization services at
customer site. 
Some outside-normal-hours visits as necessary 
Logging all issues into databases 
Proactive follow up on all issues and customer visit
Analysis and debugging of technical issues 
Provide technical documentation and knowledge base updates 
Assist technical support as needed during times of staff shortages 
Minimum requirements for consideration:
Minimum of a 4 year (i.e. Bachelors) Degree in a technical discipline
(Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems/Science, Mathematics,
etc.) or equivalent experience 
Minimum 2 years experience delivering support services to customers in
complex network environments, including exposure to security environments
(SOC, NOC, LAN/WAN, Desktop) 
Expert level knowledge of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Office
and Internet Explorer. 
Familiarity with Firewalls, Routers, VPN devices, VPN, or other network and
security devices 
Familiarity with HTML/CSS/XML 
Experience with SQL query execution and basic troubleshooting 
Thorough understanding of network and security principles (TCP/IP, DNS/WINS,
firewalls, routers, IDS, VPNs) 
Positive, can-and-will-do, team player attitude. 
Positive appearance and charismatic demeanor conducive to presenting
information to customers in a face-to-face encounter 
Ability to clearly relay technical knowledge to both technical and
non-technical people, written and verbally. 
Resourceful and self-sufficient, as help may not always be readily available

Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks. 
Relevant security / product vendor certifications, including but not limited
to:
Windows OS certifications (MSCE, MCP, etc.) 
Security certifications (CISSP, etc.)
