JOB DESCRIPTION: High potential QA engineer who has experience working with cutting edge web application technologies and has worked in start-up/ramp-up dynamic environments. Work with Customer Support and Software Development to resolve product related anomalies. Investigate issues identified by users and work to make incremental improvements to the product. Work with current staff to support software and dataload releases for the iScribe product. Analyze project requirements. Execute and analyze test results for manual and automated tests (some scripting may be required). Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements. Develop test data, cases, and plans and apply technical skills to identify any product issues per defined product functionality. Assist in running and analyzing performance tests. Identify, isolate, report and track product defects in the defect tracking system. Perform grey box testing. REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum of 3 years experience in SWQA. Excellent knowledge in Quick Test Pro, SQL, and mercury tools. Exposure to IIS, .ASP, .NET Web Applications and SQL Server Experience in testing wireless products and with software configuration management systems. Exposure with automation test tools Database skills with SQL knowledge. Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering.
