Java Developer Location: Dallas TX Duration: 6+ Months Only GC or US Citizen Minimum of 5 years experience: Java OO Analysis and Design Gap Analysis of existing software to current and future designs. Working with relational databases, preferably Oracle UML Minimum of 2 years experience: Development in a UNIX environment (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX) Apache Ant Applications development experience in a Client / Server environment. Service development using a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) A minimum of 5 years IT experience on multiple platforms/technologies Demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities Strong verbal communication skills Strong Leadership skills Experience with the complete SDLC Ability to work well with customers Proven ability to work well in cross- organizational Teams Ability to provide quality and on-time delivery Ability to adapt to change Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Knowledge Engineering, Rules-based computing, Complex Event Processing, or Expert Systems Experience with TIBCO BE, TIBCO BW, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO GI, CORBA Experience with Java 1.5 or later MULE or other ESB experience highly desireable. Experience with OO Analysis and Design Experience using Rational Rose, ClearCase and ClearQuest Unix shell scripting Integrated Development Environment – Eclipse, WSAD, RAD XML LDAP Code review and static analysis Job Responsibilities: Work closely with a development team to define, design, build, test, deploy and support Complex Event Processing solutions that meet or exceed SWA standards using Java, and using the TIBCO BE, BW, and GI suite of products. All employee Team members participate in a 24x7 on-call Production support rotation.
