This person needs to have good communication skills. prefer local candidates to begin with, as there is a face-to-face interview involved *Position:* Informatica / ETL Specialist** * * *Key Goal of this Position:* * * Design, develop, test and implement ETL processes to process data into Data Warehouse Document / Maintain / Enhance ETL processes *Responsibilities:* · Help coordinate involvement of groups and/or technologists assigned to project deliverables. · Provide consistent 'point of contact' for communication of project status and schedule to team members and project managers. · Proactively identify and escalate risks/issues while driving toward proper resolution. · Ensure all product documents (design, process diagrams, operational run-books, recovery manuals, etc) are completed. Conduct reviews and walk-through for deliverables. · Enforce Change Management process standards and procedures *Education/Experience:* · Bachelors Degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering. · Over 5yrs of Oracle PL-SQL experience and over 5yrs Informatica ETL experience. Infa 8.0 and over experience desired. · Experience commercially applying Oracle products and data processing tools, such as Informatica. Strong experience with data conversions, EDI, and data interfacing. · Effective in self motivated and directed team environments. Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. · Excellent time management skills; ability to organize and work efficiently in an atmosphere of changing priorities. · Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Experience communicating with internal personnel and customers. · Strong problem solving skills and an ability to learn rapidly on-the-job. Maintains an attention to detail. Must analyze complex problems and develop recommendations. · 5 or more years of industry experience using Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), ISO 9001 practices and the Capability Maturity Model (SEI/CMM). Demonstrated ability to technically improve existing products and services or develop new. · Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio.
