Requirement: Job Title : Software Engineer (Flex & ActionScript) Location : Orange, California Project Duration : 3 Month(s) Skill Set : Adobe Flex, Flash ActionScript, Web application development, Remoting AMF0, AMF3 Job Description : . Analyze end user needs, design efficient features specifications based on high-level requirements. . Prototype on target software and hardware platforms as part of proof- of-concept, and provide implementation plan for major changes. . Develop features/functions per approved specs with efficient coding. .Meet project objectives within specified time frame .Maintain technical document integrity for every commercial release. .Correspond task status/issues to management in a timely manner. . May serve as second/third-level tech support resource working in conjunction with Solutions Engineering and/or Tech Support. Experience : . 3 - 5 years of design/coding experience of Adobe Flex, Flash ActionScript, and Web application development. . Solid background on Remoting AMF0, AMF3. . Knowledge of relational database. Experience with MySQL is a plus. . Proficient in multi-OS environments - primarily Linux, followed by Unix and Windows. . Proven commitment to quality product development, coding standards, and customer service. . Experience with Java is a plus. . Knowledge and use of the IBM Rational ClearCase, or similar source control and QC problem tracking systems/methodologies and configuration management toolsets, is a plus . Enthusiasm for solving problems. . Strong verbal and written communication skills. . Ability to work independently and in a team structure.
