Prior consulting experience is strongly preferred. - B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to influence managers and executives. - Business acumen and understanding of the role of technology in business transformation and increased operational efficiency - Facilitation, conflict management, and consensus building skills - Methodical, thoughtful approach to problem solving *Specific Requirements * - Significant competency in one or more of the following technology disciplines: e-business architecture, enterprise architecture, SOA, I.T. infrastructure strategy, or software product architecture. Demonstrated knowledge of related commercial packages and products, open source offerings, tools, standards, and processes. - Active interest in technology as demonstrated by understanding of current trends. Established points of view and ability to advise clients on technology options and adoption approaches. - Ability to analyze existing technology investments, analyze and propose options for transformation, and develop business cases in qualitative and quantitative terms. - Understanding of, and ability to advise on, non-technical aspects of change initiatives including technology governance and change management. - Experience with outsourcing and distributed development is preferred.
