Position requires an individual experienced in providing SQL database, application and server support for: installation; configuration; upgrades; patching; capacity planning and tuning; storage monitoring; security; data import and export; backup and recovery; query execution; and, user support. This position requires: Clustering of 2 or more nodes Installation / Uninstallation of SQL engines SSIS, SSAS, SSRS Candidates experienced in the administration and support of Microsoft Windows Servers within Active Directory environments as well as application integration and migration support will be given preference. • Must have experience with *MSSQL 2000/2005* • Solid understanding of database architecture including processes, structures • Solid understanding of entity relational diagrams and integrity constraints • Solid understanding of database security including users and roles • Solid understanding of backup and restore procedures • Solid understanding of performance tuning measures including storage, I/O and memory usage • Solid understanding of interface connectivity such as ODBC and supplier middleware • Solid understanding of database level programming such as triggers, procedures and packages • General understanding of advanced features such as DTS, replication, clustering, disaster recovery • General understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems • Must possess the ability to work in a highly diverse and integrated hardware/software environment • Ability to debug and troubleshoot most errors and issues with little guidance from more senior staff • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely • Above average skills in written and oral communication Regards, Kumar Thota || Phone: 916 978 1057 Ext 306 || Efax: 603 719 0999 || Email: [email protected] || Website: www.vibhainc.com || Note: This email is not intended to be a solicitation.
