CLIENT M mainframe and/or distributed system development experience preferred. - At least four years experience with healthcare payer membership, claims, customer servicing, and provider servicing systems delivery or support - At least six years experience with SDLC methodologies, including RUP At least three years experience in project delivery, including technical delivery, project management, and project leadership *SUMMARY* The Delivery Leader assigned to a delivery team or MOS release is the primary leader responsible for developing the end-to-end technical solution that satisfies the defined business need. This technical leader provides multiple team specific direction throughout SDLC phases, removes barriers, and facilitates delivery of a quality the solution. The Delivery Leader is also responsible for facilitating the assimilation of the technical solution into the IT production support organizations including IT readiness, knowledge transfer/turnover, etc. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. The Delivery Leader working with various technical and business teams is responsible for:: • *completing requirements analysis activities* *• supporting the resolution of identified business issues and risks* *• supporting the development of business requirements documents (BRD) * *• defining the technical solution to meet business requirements* *• communicating the technical solution through design walk-throughs, conceptual system design (CSD) reviews, etc* *• ensuring complete integration of technical solution across business process areas, as well as across technical delivery streams, including understanding upstream and downstream dependencies, identifying external touch points, etc* *• coordinating delivery of solution design throughout the SDLC* *• insuring the quality of end-to-end solution delivery through active engagement in MOS program technical design quality reviews, as well as SIT, UAT, and End-to-End Test* *• coordinating technical solution implementation and post-implementation activities* 2. Has team leads and, at times, support staff and/or senior technical personnel reporting to them. 3. Leads and directs part of an organization responsible for a segment of the work performed by the IS division. Requires extensive knowledge of the supported business area as well as the area being managed. 4. Coordinates information management solutions. 5. Reviews scopes/plans and prioritizes multiple projects. 6. Assures adherence to department policies and procedures. 7. Reviews and ensures a high level of quality and service are maintained by meeting or exceeding commitments. 8. Initiates, develops and enforces standards and procedures in support of improved service. 9. Performs leadership duties and is responsible for performance reviews. May be heavily involved in technical decision-making activities. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 10. Has wide latitude in determining creative solutions to strategic and operational needs. *EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE* 1. Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree in related field preferred. 2.
