This Architect/Developer will take a leadership role in Agile/Scrum development team creating the next generation of healthcare applications on the web. In this environment you will be responsible for developing, documenting and communicating the architecture to your fellow architects, the development team and across the organization. As an architect you are expected to have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. You are expected to collaborate with the business and IT partners on the development of an overall strategy for your area. As a Search Architect, you are expected to have deep understanding of the search space and related tooling, SEO, as well as some familiarity with IBM websphere portal. With respect to Search * deep understanding of faceted navigation, content taxonomies/meta-data and their relationship to search, content indexing and crawling, impact of portal based architecture on search. Experience with Vivisimo, search engine configuration and tuning, integration of search with portal * would be a plus. With respect to SEO * deep understanding of how site structure affects SEO, knowledge of working with Google and the best way to create a *crawlable* site, composition of URL and how it impacts search effectiveness, etc. At least 3-4 years of search experience * in context a large customer facing site, and ideally 1- 2 years of search experience in a portal environment. : Technologies Unix - Linux or Solaris Portlets * portal lifecycle, inter-portlet communication Java Server Pages Portal (ideally IBM Websphere Portal Server 6.x) IBM WAS Content Management * (ideally Teamsite) Javascript HTML and Dynamic HTML AJAX * (ideally DOJO or DWR) Tooling CVS, Subversion Continuum Maven Eclipse, RAD JUnit Meta-Data Management Tooling * ideally Schema Logic Enterprise Search Tools * ideally Vivisimo Other UML Modeling * the process and tooling Education: A computer science degree or equiv exp Thanks & Regards, Harsh .
