RUP, Agile & database change management techniques
3 yrs Experience managing structure & data changes and
software releases across multiple databases at various
stages of SDLC in a highly complex iterative software
development environment
3 yrs Experience developing tools to administer large
numbers of test & development database environments
2 yrs Experience performing data modeling to redesign
database for performance improvement
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Carry 24x7 pager for supporting Production & Development
database systems

Scope: A. Database design and implementation services for large
application development projects.
B. Database administration for Oracle 10g and Oracle 9i.
C. Daabase design and implementation services to support
full audit trails for data changes.
D. Develops and documents database standards, guidelines and
processes as required.
E. Performs data modeling to support web-based application
development.
F. Work with application developers and report writers to
design/implement/modify databases.
G. Troubleshoot problems regarding the database,
applications, and development tools.
H. Assist applications developers and systems staff in
analysis and problem resolutions pertaining to database.
I. Determine, implement, and enhance standards on database
security.
J. Coordinate and support migration to new data management
system software levels.
K. Other activities, as required.
