Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for design team. - Acts as a resource for direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff. - Monitors project risks, schedules and costs. - Responsible for delivering direction on the designs for a specific application or a suite of applications. - The deliverable of the Architect is a logical (*.* solution architecture for a set of business requirements that defines how the needs of an entire project/ program impact the applications within a department or across many departments. *Skills: * * * - *Specific experience as a solution architect, with experience in Claim Systems and/or Healthcare, and mainframe, midrange and/or distributed architectures required.* - *Experience with **EDI, .NET, JAVA, WebServices** a plus.
