Title: Sr. Engineer - Regulatory testing of CDMA handsets - Job ID: DM14282 Location: Camas, WA 98607 Duration: 6 to 12 months Project: Under the direction of the Network Interoperability team leader, work with our development partners and certification test organizations to plan, coordinate, and manage activities related to regulatory testing of CDMA handsets. This includes working with third party labs and development partners to develop and manage submission schedules as well as working with technical teams to prepare submission packages and to support issue resolution. Work directly with carrier technical staff to resolve problems in both handsets and infrastructure. Assist with in-house and field test activities as needed. Other Duties - Marginal Responsibilities: Proactively coordinate with US-based Product Planning and development teams to leverage synergies. Must - Skills / Knowledge Requirements: A 4 year business or technical degree is required. The candidate must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and be proactive and highly detail focused. Desired - Skills and Knowledge: Prior project management experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with cellular communication technologies is a strong plus. NOTE: Some domestic and international travel required. Must be able to work extended hours. Must be able to sit at desk for extended periods of time. Must be able to review, analyze and author English language technical documentation. Must be able to analyze, present and explain complex processes.
