MUST have VERY STRONG PL/SQL skills MUST have WEB application development experience MUST HAVE V STRONG SCRIPTINGSKILLS; DEF VBSCRIPTING if it’s a .net candidate and JAVASCRITP if its is a JAVA candidate Other strong skills MUST have is UNIX and pref PERL *The purpose of the position is to provide technical support for internal IT group, its systems and interfaces. • Participates and provides significant contributions in the design, coding, testing, support and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software • Collaborates with other developers and provides significant contributions to develop specifications to resolve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement needs • Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support • Ability to technical-lead and work with other team members and to work with and understand business client requirements • Demonstrates a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends that could impact the field and the business • Communicates in a manner that conveys credibility and confidence that he/she will deliver on the customer’s needs • Takes action to resolve customer concerns in a timely manner that exceeds normal expectations • Identifies opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation • Consistently seeks to develop self and skills needed to be prepared for future opportunities and be among the best in his/her field Skills • Four-year college degree with an emphasis on business or technology preferred. • Minimum 6 years experience in • Oracle 8/9/10g, SQL server 2000/2003, MS Access • SQL, PL/SQL • Web Development using ASP.NET or J2EE platforms using ADO, C#, ASP, IIS, HTML/DHTML, JAVA, JSP, Servlets, JDBC • Scripting - Unix/VB script/Perl/JavaScript • Additional software development experience preferred in • Frameworks-MVC, Persistence, Tag Libraries, AJAX • .NET- VB.NET • J2EE/JAVA- POJO, JMS, WEB Tags • XML/HTML, WebServices • Subversion, VSS or other source control software. • Minimum 4 years related industry experience is a plus* Many thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon. ~ Thank you.
