Length: 6+ Months Industry: Insurance KEY EXPERIENCE: The ideal person will have been in a Life Insurance company’s Sales & Marketing or Agency Support department, or perhaps worked for a General Agency. If you have never seen a Sales Illustration, it is highly structured report that shows how a policy can be expected to perform over 20 years (or longer), under Guaranteed values (eg. 3% interest rate) and Current values (maybe 4.5%). It also shows Cash Value, Surrender Value, etc., etc. CUSTOMIZED JOB DESCRIPTION – Please Read Carefully – Qualification & Experience requirements must be reflected on submissions. 6+ month project. Overview of Responsibilities: Employee’s primary responsibility is to interview SME’s and document process flows and business requirements as required for the design of a suite of Sales Support tools. The functionality envisioned for the end-state would include: basic quotations and proposals, full Sales Illustrations, Needs Analysis, online training, activity tracking and analysis. Investigates and resolves moderately complex programming and presentation problems, inclusive of the creation and maintenance of functional specifications and user documentation. Recommends solutions and design improvements for increased efficiency. Functions independently and capable of setting and meeting established deadlines. Qualifications and Experience: A related Bachelor’s degree and 5 years progressive experience inØ Information Technology (mainframe, mid-range, Intel platform). Minimum 2 years meaningful experience with Life Insurance products Minimum 1 year experience supporting Sales Illustrations. Applicant is required to have oAdvanced analysis skills oSignificant project management experience. PMP certification preferred. oIntermediate knowledge of life insurance products oBasic skills in building process flow diagrams and Visio.
