Candidate must possess extensive SQL Server 2005 experience and Oracle 9i 
experience.  Essentially I am looking for a Candidate who has been a SQL Server 
DBA over their career and also supported Oracle in the past.  Top skill needed 
is Sr. level SQL Server 2005 DBA skills with mid-level Oracle 9i DBA skills.  
Mentoring and/or training experience is required.
 
Currently seeking a SQL Server 2005 DBA for a 3-5 month contract position with 
one of our Pharmaceutical clients.  Our client has recently hired a Jr. DBA and 
they need a Senior person to come in, mentor and bring this DBA up to speed 
before unleashing him/her into full blown DBA responsibilities.  Ideally, 
experience with mentoring Jr. DBA's would be ideal however this is not 
required.  We have had several DBA's interview and they were all more of 
Application DBA's and they really need a strong SQL Server Production DBA.  
Oracle 9i experience during your career would be a tremendous help mostly 
having the understanding to move around in Oracle 9i but really the need a 100% 
SQL Server 2005 DBA with tasks including security administration, performance 
monitoring, installs, configuration, server tuning.  Someone who has been a DBA 
thought entire career and does not want a developer.
