For example, one project will be to synchronize user data in acquired company Role-Based Access Control system with users and group memberships registered in LDAP directories, including Active Directory. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years software development experience, a minimum of 2 years of java development experience and have worked on several relatively large (6 to 12 month) projects. Candidates must be familiar with commonly used Java design patterns. Candidates must have worked with LDAP, Active Directory and JNDI. Candidates must have good communications (written and verbal) skills. C/C++ skills are a plus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: . Develops and tests product code according to Company quality standards . Performs thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of product-related problems according to BMC support standards . Carries out thorough unit testing; supports systems and integration testing as required to provide a quality product . Assists in marketing of BMC products as required by PM&D management . Provides input to the Technical Writers for all product documentation . Defines the functional specification of program modules ensuring functionality, quality and ease of maintainability .
