Role: Oracle Application Developer with Web experience Location: Portland, OR Duration: 12 Months Our client is looking for a candidate that can support the PL/SQL batch application but could also be used to support the User Interface. The perfect candidate would have experience with .NET, C, C#, HTML, XML, JavaScript, ASP, and Visual Studio. Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for the life cycle support, including documenting the analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of a complex mission critical Oracle PL/SQL developed application. Must be able to identify and develop solutions and recommend alternatives that meet defined business objectives; develop plans and perform system testing; maintain and enhance production software and develop new software. The system is highly batch driven and has a WEB .Net UI for setup and exceptions handling. The system currently resides on a Sun server but will be migrated to IBM AIX server. The primary skill set needed to support this application is Oracle Pl/SQL. Strong Appworx, Unix, and C knowledge would be preferred. Experience with large Oracle (over a terabyte) is desirable.
