Position Description: This role will have a particular emphasis on Oracle database management, deployment and tuning. Qualified candidates should have experience in data modeling and logical database design as well as practical experience in deployment of physical Oracle databases based on logical designs. This will include, but not be limited to, physical construction of tables, indexes, normalization, sizing, optimization, and tuning. The Database Administrator will also perform all necessary administrative duties for proper maintenance of development and test environments supporting development for and certification of production systems.
