Title: Business Analyst/Consultant - Opening #2711 Location: Salem, OR Start Date: July 1, 2009 End Date: December 31, 2009 Hours of Work: 40 hours/week Interview: Personal Background Investigations: Criminal - State, Fingerprinting Job Description: ========== This position is responsible for assisting the change to our business functions related to Medicaid client services and eligibility maintenance (fee-for-service and managed care). As a Member of the MMIS Business Support Unit, this position will be leading efforts with contractors and stakeholders to operation and maintain the MMIS. This position will participate in analysis of system issues and provider recommendations to various divisions for consideration. This position is responsible for coordinating the identification of business processes and supporting the development and implementation activities related to a changes to the eligibility maintenance, specific MMIS subsystem. This position requires extensive knowledge of Medicaid Eligibility rules and DMAP's Managed Care Enrollment rules. This person will have update authority in the MMIS to fix client eligibility records that have been corrupted due to systems problems. This person will also enroll clients into managed care and will fix managed care enrollment that have been corrupted. This person will also be responsible for User Acceptance Testing for system fixes in the Eligibility and Enrollment areas and will give the approval to promote system changes to Production. The functions of this position require extensive knowledge and experience with federal, state, and Department of Human Services' rules, regulations and procedures and related Title XIX areas.
